Any Tricks to getting Chain Housing to Not leak?

I did a chain tensioner upgrade a year or so ago.

I have a small drip off the very lowest point of both chain housings. Is there any trick to getting these to not leak? I'm positive it is leaking from here...

Thanks,
Ian

If the cover material is of good quality and overheating factors aren't involved... make sure the cover and the surface is straight.
Check with a straight-edge/feeler guages and then sandpaper flat on a surface.
The proper(paper/plastic/rubber/carbon/siliconish ???) gaskets are necessary with incrementaly-equal tourqe on the nuts.
Check the archives....

Also, having both the chain box covers and the chain boxes themselves media blasted helps to make a good seal. Of course, removing the old studs before media blasting is recommended. Then install new new cam box studs. Note, several of the studs go into to the cam housing. Besure to used Loctite 574 on those studs. Note: this is one of the more complicated task, since the motor cams must be retimed.

maybe it's the covers? To add to Jim and John's advice on the covers. I super clean the mating surface with acetone before install. I still don't trust them so I run a few coats of clear paint on the cover/gasket/housing interface. That has worked for me.

Maybe it's leaking from the rear of the chain housing?
