difference between 2.2L & 2.4L P&C ?

all;
can someone tell me the difference between the 2.2L & 2.4(MFI)
P&C.

2.2L are higher compression. Comparing the two, you'll see a slightly higher "dome" on the 2.2L. To compensate for this, the valve pockets will be cut slightly deeper.

This is why some people, like myself, rebuild their 2.4L's with 2.2L pistons.

i'm starting to get it. higher CR, but no change in displacement. is it possible to use 2.2L E pistons in 2.4L CIS cast iron cylinders ?
