I guess the idea of making a true mid-engine forced induction GT1 replica gets me pretty hot and bothered - but why not go the whole nine yards and give it the gorgeous GT1 exterior as well instead of that fugly abortion?

Actually, for $49k it looks to be very well built with many high end components. Comes with a trailer as well. Curious as to what the base car was.

It says Motec in the listing. If it is Motec, why did they keep the CIS fuel distributor?

It has SCCA Club racing stickers, Does that thing even fit a SCCA class?

It claims to be based on a 996, but might not even be a 993.

Many issues with this bird.................thinking foul.
