Head studs 3.2

so, the 3.2 carrera I'm hoping to buy is on the rack getting inspected RIGHT NOW. The words 'head-stud replacement' were mentioned -- what should it cost to replace ONE broken head stud on a 3.2 motor? I don't want to jump into a full engine rebuild just yet if I can get that bad stud yanked out and replaced for, what, 500 bucks? Every other aspect of the car is top notch. Any advise greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately to do even 1 stud, the engine needs to come out and the heads/ cylinders on the affected bank removed. At that point the ~$12 stud can be replaced.

By the time you have gone that far a case of the 'while i'm in theres' will have struck
