Fuse or Relay? Or.....?

My fresh air blower motor stopped working. Even though I recently replaced it. At the same time my cig lighter and rear defrost also stopped working. Could this be a single fuse (I checked and all fuses "look" ok) a relay, or is it a wildcat strike for better working conditions..........

I have found that these ceramic type fuses can look just fine on visual examination...they might even check out OK with a meter...but, there can still be a continuity problem thru the fuse (on again, off again). As cheap as these fuses are, just replace the suspect fuse and you might find success. I've had this problem with turn signal and cruise control fuses on my '89.

Yep. Fuse LOOKED fine but the contact ends were black. Cleaned offending ends and Voila! now I can drive AND breathe heavily at the same time!

Thanks again for the posts.

Thanks to those who contributed to this thread. You saved me some grief as this car was on its way over on monday!!!!

Now instead of chasing electrical gremlins, I have to look at the sunroof Just kidding Jorian, I am glad this was an easy fix.

Please note I am making an attempt at humor!!

Cheers, Jeff
