What are these brakes The Racers Group is selling?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2477822148&category=33563&sspagename=WD1V#ebayphotohosting

When I call, they only talk about the new Brembo GTP. Wonder what these are?

The Ebay ad is for big reds, 4 calipers with slotted rotors.

Pictured are 2 calipers with drilled rotors, not sure why didn't use a picture of what they are actually selling.

Are those early 964 C2 calipers? 4 piston on the front and 2 in the rear?

The picture which may or may not be representaitive of what they are selling(the rotor pic certainly is not) is a 2piston 964 rear and a small 4 piston Brembo, certainly not Big Reds

A little off topic but not really when the item being sold is misrepresented and the seller has recent history of similar dealings.

I recently called a bought a bumper of RG's wed site. I was very specific about what I wanted and had the salesperson go to their web site picture to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted.

Of course what arrived from RG was nothing like what was pictured and not what I ordered or paid for.

When I was finally able to get throught to someone about the error (which took three days of phone tag) I was told (by the guy I originally ordered with ) "I ordered the wrong bumper", as in, "this is the most popular style we sell and what you really want". No kidding the guy actually said that to me.

My card was charged on Dec. 7. I am still waiting for a refund although the RG now has the bumper back in exactly the same condition as it arrived at my body shop.

I would be very cautious before undertaking any sort of transaction via th Internet or phone with RG.

rdane - I almost had the same problem and it turned out that Getty Design ( the people who make the body parts ) provided TheRacersGroup some incorrect photos and some of the photos are actually photoshopped from other Getty parts to create the image ie. offering it before it was made.

TheRacersGroup - are actually really good guys who have gone a long way out of their way to help me on a number of ocassions.. I have spent A LOT of money with them with no problems...

Thanks
Todd

Thanks Todd...just not my case and still trying to get my money back from the RG. Part that really bothers me is I had the sales person look at their own web site to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. When a different bumper arrived same sales person he told me "I should have ordered this one". Getting him on the phone took an act of Congress.

Getting them to return a call was damn near impossible.

Still getting the run around even after the bumper was returned exactly the way it arrived at my body shop and still no refund.

How hard is it to drag the parts off the shelf, set them down on a clean table, take a digital pic, then put the parts away again?

Are you talking about Getty Design? The parts I bought from RacersGroup I think came direct from Getty when they arrived.. I do however aagree...

Better yet, "how hard is it to get your web page offerings AND PICTURES correct?"

From experience I can tell you , a little harder than answering the phone or returning phone calls but no much.
