Yup, cork. Though I'm baffled why they would call it that. I've never seen a cork even close to that color.

Yeah, "Sunset in Maui" would have been a more accurate name, but it's Cork.

I don't think that is cork. I think it is camel.
Cork is a bit lighter and has a pretty unique '70's look to it.

I know for a fact that this one is cork. I'm not sure how camel (or caramel) compares.

The original photo is definitely NOT cork. Porschenut's interior IS cork.

cork
Porschenut is cork. I am cork. Depending on the lighting, camera etc. it can look a bit different.

I can confirm that the pic Porschenut posted is Cork (I had a `77S with Cork interior ). It has a more orange-ish hue than caramel. Also, the vinyl surfaces have a "blotted" color pattern, as if they were painted with a sponge.

My car is a 77S with cork interior & according to Mark S. Haab's book..the 1974-1989 911 etc authenticy series, that was a standard interior color that year. It looks like cork was only available from 1977 thru 1979, as a standard color. I'm looking at the 1984 listings and cork is not listed. Also, caramel/camel is not listed. In fact none of the colors listed sound as if they desribe the corky, caramelly color of that interior, although you could always get it colored to sample.
