Question 73' 915 Tranny with 3.6L Engine?

Hey guys I need to know if the 915 tranny from a 1973 911 will fit on 911 (964) 3.6 liter from a 1992 C2 America Roadster.

Not directly, but it can and has been done. It requires adapters if as I'm guessing your putting the 3.6 in an earlier chassis and not the trans in a later.

Do a search which can be tricky since "3.6" can't be part of the search...needs 3 letters. There are MANY threads on here about such. Dr. Steve Timmons and Patrick Motorsports are two places you can gain a little knowledge.

Yes, you will need a custom flywheel from either Patrick or Timmins and some shorter bolts

Stock 915 c/pp wrks fine but I would use a new one.

Beefed sideplates and a cooler for track use are advised.

You also need to notch the bell housing for the 964's speed and reference sensors. But yes, it can be done. It probably doesn't make sense if you're replacing the Roadster's tranny. But it's the best way to go if you're swapping a 964 motor into a 1973 tub.
