Do all of the MFI systems have the same part number on the castings or can they be told apart visually? If not visually, it seems that the only difference will be the space cams and the port matching on the stacks. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Kenik,
All the MFI stacks and TB's have different casting numbers. If you know what casting number to look for it would be a help. All the parts can be told apart through their inlet/outlet sizes. There was a thread here a while back on the measurements of the different diameters for the various model engines. T,E,&S models have different bore sizes in the stacks and TB's. Do a search and you should find it. The pumps all have different p/n's depending on engine also. I hope this answers your question. Steve |

Thanks for the info; I am going to look closely at my PET to see what the differnces are. I may need a 2.0L '69S MFI (complete) in the near future and need to figure out a course of action.
