Drove a 997 Today... WOW!!

I drove a friend's 997 today, and guys, they seemed to have fixed a lot of what I didn't like about the 996.

It is VERY responsive, seems just as fast as a 996 Carrera S I was in last year. The shifter is much improved over the 996. The car car instantly goes from 80 to 100 in what seemed like 3 seconds, pushing me back in the seat like a roller coaster. It handles great with very quick steering.

I didn't think I would like it as much as I did.

Yah - amazing, so quiet too, not even trying and going so fast. In my old car you know it when your going fast not so in the new cars.

Nah, he just wanted one all his life and now he can afford it, he is a heart surgeon.
