'67 ignition timing - temps?

My '67 911S has been running a little warm since I have got it back on the road. It would get up to 210F on days when it was 75-95F outside.

I just had the timing checked and it was at 16 deg. (I think thats how they described it). The shop took it back to 5 deg. as they said it was a little advanced.

My question is, would this level of timing advance be the culprit in my engine running warm post 30min driving?
They couldn't find anything else amiss.

Oh, and my car ignition is totally stock with no electronics.

Fred
