1 out vs 2 out
what are the differences, if any, of a 1-in-2-out exhaust system from a pre-muff. vs a 1-in-1-out system

Louder (generally)
Look cool (IMO) You'll have to remove (or cut) the rear valance to run a two out.

Two outlets makes for a louder sound, generally. I think the 'breathing' capability of a muffler will have more to do with the internal design than how many holes it has at the back.

What Jack said.
FYI, 5hp *max* from back to back tests on a Dynojet 248C. Real #s from a Monty.

Some HATE the Monty (local shop swears it is a HP eater - but this was on carbed early cars!) and some love it.
I liked mine with the 3.0 I had - the perfect sound. Good power. I'd recommend it.

You can listen to both outlet versions (Dansk muffler, of course) on our Dansk website at www.jpgroup.dk

everywhere i look it just seems that everyone has their own preference for mufflers, which doesn't help me, because i'd like some numbers since i'm looking for power

One in two out????
Not much besides noise...one would reason that any performance would be gained by modifying the ENTIRE exhaust system. Six exhaust ports strangled down to one pipe...into a muffler with two (larger) holes....hmmmm, dosen't pass the giggle test with me. Kinda of describes a ricey fart tube to me....%^B
