CIS to EFI conversion thickness

I am going to build an airbox for my EFI conversion and am wondering how thick the steel should be,(wether I use stainless,Carbon steel, or Aluminum)?

Thanks
Oscar

Here is something to think about.

Cutting the throttle at speed can create a vacuum in the airbox of 10psi. If your air box has a surface of 6" x 10" (60 in^2) this would result in an 600lbs force on each side trying to collapse that surface.

Cheers,
