Car Pix
Here are some photos of my '72 911T. I just bought my wife a Nikon Coolpix 3200, so I kind of felt obligated to road test it for her. I hope I can get them to post: I'm pretty new at this. Here goes:

Very nice color. Good pics. Mine make my guards red color look like dull orange.

I also like the color. I Had a 912 a few years ago that color. Do you recall what the factory name/# for that color is, just gotta remember for future reference.

My friend Alex, aka Russian Blue, tells me the paint code indicates Albert Blue. It has been re-painted, and I believe it is a shade or two off, but he tells me it is quite close.
I can't believe I was able to get that plate. The first question everyone asks when they see the car is "is it still MFI?" Of course it is; that was a major criteria for me in selecting this car. That, and being a '72. I wanted an "S" (doesn't everyone?), but they were so far over my self-imposed budget that I "settled" for this "T". Two out of three ain't bad. My long-range plan is to slowly re-work it to "S" level performance. I already have the "S" front calipers, front and rear sway bars, and struts/shocks. There is a Weltmeister camber strut brace up front and the sport muffler on the back. In the mail even as we speak is a pair of Corbeau Classic II's. Next will be 22/28 torsion bars and a lowering to Euro spec ride height. After that, a Mocal RS front cooler set-up behind an RS style front bumper. It's not needed for now with the "T" spec motor, but eventually, like when the kids are out of school, I'll go through the motor. I'm not sure yet how far I will take that, but it will always wear MFI on the top and the sport muffler on the back. This will be a several year evolution, but at least I can still drive it as it morphs. Oh, and by the way, no RS clone for this car. I like the clean narrow look. Maybe a ducktail, but that is as far as the body mods will go.
