Backdating Shift Pattern

Is it possible to backdate my '72 5-speed 915 to the original 901 shift pattern? If so, which parts would I need to do this?

You'd need a 901 gearbox. I don't think that there is any way to change the shift pattern. Let me know if you decide to sell your 915 gearbox, I need one for my 72. Good luck
