A different resto project...
While it's not real, it is cool. A total restoration of an original Tamiya 1/12 935 R/C car... The body as it is now... More pics as it goes along.

Buy them, sell them

Those vintage Tamiya kits are worth big money. I saw an original 959 R/C kit, still in it's shrink wrap sell for almost US$2k on eBay recently and a hobby store owner I know was furiously bidding on it. He was pissed that it went higher than he could justify.
It should look awesome when it's finished. Look after it, and for heaven's sake - don't smash it all up! ![]()

This one is going on the shelf. I have a GT1 and a Ferrari F2002 1/12 R/C as well. This one will be a looker. I had this car when I was a kid... It is what made me a Porsche geek, right from the get go... ![]()
