fuel rail question for 993 3.6

For those of you who have 993 3.6s, what side of the engine is the fuel supply located on? (the connection with the regulator) Mine is on the right side with the return on the left. A friend dropped by with my old 993, and I was looking at his, and his supply side is on the left, with the return on the right (passenger). My fuel rails were taken off right before I bought the engine to have the new harness put on, and now Im wondering if he put them on the wrong side. And ,I'm kinda thinking it really doesnt matter either, as long as the supply side is on the regulator side, it should work either way. I mean its just a loop right??
But, which side is yours on?

Hi

My 1995 993 engine has the supply on the Right and the return on the Left, this is correct according to the Factory manual.

Bill, looking at that photo the front of the car is to the left? So the Return hooks up the regulator?

Hey Marc.
Got your message on the light switch help. I do not know squat about fuel rails! So I cannot help you here. Sounds like the project is moving along. Cannot wait for a drag race on Sandy Plains when your done. The shifter works great, but the old finger still pressess that light stalk to hold down the brights! Its a drag..

On the road this week (Augusta), so I will give you a call to see when your free during next week. Always appreciate your help.

Don't forget the flaps!

Bob

Bob, just give me a call.
I just finished removing the intake and switching the fuel rails around. I also got all the lights (except headlights) installed and working. The GT Racing fenders needed ALOT of modifying to make everything fit!
