Jack/BB2 I'm coming to get 'cha!

No not really...but thanks to all you guys, I can dream! Anyone have a car they are cutting up? I need to replace the drivers frame rail from the shock post back to continue the body work. My engine is a 3.0L(that the seller and I thought was a 2.7L and I purchased for $1800)that just got completed a couple of weeks ago. Jet hot coated headers & a 930 type muffler from Ben at M & K Specialties aka:mb911!

Now those are some NICE looking rims!
ah... come on Nikita You can take Jack O..... he is HUMAN! he can be beaten.... Hell if I were in Cali, I'd have Tyson S. set up the car and I'd go give Jack a run at some of the tracks out there.. My ole SC may meet the fate that BB1 had.. but hell it would have been fun giving it hell out there trying to beat BB2 around the tracks..

I'm lucky that Kurt Williams(pjv911) hasn't killed me yet with all my questions. I think we might get a tag team going on! Nikita/Kurt v. Jack/Tyson...or maybe I'll bring the tequilla and watch everyone else drive really, really fast!

The wheels are the old school "coke bottle" wheels that I picked up from Jerry(ty901) and sent them out to Al Reed for refinishing. The offset and sizing used to be readily available from American Racing for widebodies until they stopped.(early-mid 80's I think).
The fronts are 15 x 8.5 w/Hoosier R3S04 225/55zr 15, rears 15 x 10 R3S04 275/50zr 15.

Those look like polished American Racing 200S's, which were popular with Corvette and street rod guys in the '70's and have a little retro appeal now. Still available.

They looked especially attractive, IMO in a satin finished lip with magnesium (look, anyway) gray centers.

Thats them!!! They are still made but American racing does not make sizing applications for widebodies anymore. I like the gray centers w/satin lips too but...with the rest of the car color/decals/trim(signal green/black carrera decals/chrome window door frames), I thought the polished and black would pop more.

I didn't see any metric bolt patterns available. Are yours Porsche pattern (5x130) or did you use adapters?

very sweet. that is the first time i have seen a fan strap drilled out - nice. question: will the regular PMO style rainshield filters carry over to the one you have on your engine?

Thanks! This car continues to throw me curves!(expensive curves!) The rain shields from the webers on my targa fit on these no problem.

Thats not a drilled fanstrap its one of the trick Rennline versions (I think).

Thats what I thought those wheels were. I did not realize they ever made them for Porsches. I dont think they make them today. Very cool, I love that style.
