Want to start a complete list of all fan mount strap decals

I want to start a complete list of all fan mount strap decals and determine which are available and which are not. Same thing for any stickers NLA on the rear cross piece and the coil too, I suppose. Any others needed, speak up.

Next, I will ask for pics of the ones needed from those that have them. Following that, I will find someone to duplicate the artwork needed for printing on the correct foil or paper.

I know a some of these are avilable in various places like the dealer and some parts purveyors, and I would like to identify which they are and where. The Early S Registry has a small selection. With a complete catalogue, everyone should be able to find what they need.

Don't start up about the copyrights and all that jazz. I'm not going into business. I'm just helping Dave @ TRE get some stickers made.

Great idea. Attached decal came off my 73.5 911T (early CIS). Couldn't find this exact decal yet and would certainly order one if available.

Great idea.

Dr. Brett Johnson's book says that the early 901 didn't have any depressions on the rear latch panel, and so no decals. Likewise, he says that the later 901s had depressions but no decals, with the decals appearing in 1967. Can anyone confirm?

Milt, I'll scan the one off my '71 911E for you as soon as I can.

Zeke..I just bought a fan strap sticker for my 78SC from my local dealer. Its very nice, picture to follow. If I may ask..I also bought a new strap from our host and it appears the new straps have two cut outs in them, which is not what the original 78 straps have. Anyone have info on this, I'm guessing that this is all that is available these days. I'm also interested in the proper orientation of the strap and sticker on the fan housing seems that the factory moved it around for various years.
thanks, Ron

It may be wise to include accurate dimensions when providing pics.

Folks, this may take some time to compile a list. Be patient. A regular poster here is also the special order parts guy at a shop or dealer on the East Coast. I'm sorry, for the moment I can't think of his handle or his name. Great guy. (Please weigh in on this and help me. Or, if you don't want to go public, please PM me and I'll not mention any more.)

I will start a list of MIA decals when the info streams in.

Did this die? Shoot, I thought this would be a barnstormer. Dave at TRE is willing to get these printed up if we can find out what's needed. I sure don't know, I'm far from the decal police. I guess I can start shooting pics of all I see, but until the GAF in Sept., I won't see that many cars all in one place.

Anyone want to help out by shooting all of their decals and stickers so we can eliminate the ones available? I doesn't matter what year the car is, just state the year so we know what we are looking at.

My car has no decals or stickers save for the coil. And they are not good.

I saw an ad for http://www.carclassic.biz/ in Classic Motorsports. They claim to specialize in hard to find engine bay stickers.
