How hot should 911 cylinder heads be heated when pressing in new guides?

cold is fine. just mic all the guides that came out and be sure the new ones are the same size, or no more than 2/100ths mm larger. spray WD-40 down the bore and on the guide and press or drive then in. i use an airhammer, gentle on the trigger, and a guide driver with a fat flat washer on it to protect the top of the guide.
