just how loud is Fabspeed's muffler bypass pipe?

I'm in need of a new muffler and considering installing Fabspeed's muffler bypass pipe (with appropriate support of the cat) until I decide on a replacement. Does anyone have any experience with this product? Will I lose all my low end torque? It lists at $50 bucks, so it's no big deal if I decide it's too loud for the street. I'm just looking for some opinions.

A friend drove with a cat bypass and the tail pipe and its basically driving with no exhaust system. I can't imagine having the cat in there is going to quiet it down very much. He did note that low end torque was missing but the looks on people's faces as he went by was well worth it.

A muffler bypass, or a cat bypass? The latter is done all the time, the former will indeed be loud.
Fabspeed makes a Euro premuffler that replaces the cat but is more than $50.
Good luck

For $50 bucks they make a tip that bolts on to the end of the cat (or bypass pipe).

I'm talking about the pipe that bolts directly to the cat/pre-muffler. It eliminates the banana muffler.
