Removing 3.6 oil filter on engine
I have a 3.6 conversion and am wondering if anyone has seen a tool for removing the oil filter that is attached to the 3.6 motor? Or does anyone have any suggestions of how to get up there to get it changed. It appears that only "Plastic Man" would be able to get his hand or a tool up there and get a grip on it.
Thanks. Don |

Check out the local auto parts store. They'll have a tool that wrapps around the filter. It might help if you can get it around the filter to twist it loose. The method I use, is driving a large screwdriver through the filter.
Good luck Gary

big pair of water pump pliers also works, the process is destructive to the filter.
The other option is to unbolt the oil line.
