Eric,
If you get the chance....ask about the original paperwork that came with the car, it includes all the correspondence between the factory and the original owner....I remember seeing it when Alfred had the car...it was pretty unbelieveable.... regards, Eric Linden |

Eric,
I have seen all that stuff as well.. It indeed has to be one of the best documented cars I have ever seen... It is honestly the best 67S I and many others have seen.. I'll try to get some picks of the I think it's a 66 911 that is in the same shape and just as well documented it's a white "right hooker". -Eric

Eric, and/or anyone else who might know, are luggage racks like those available anywhere any longer? One that might fit an SC?
The reason I ask is that I recently took took the love of my life on our first 911 road trip and, well, you married guys know where this is headed. I spent about 3 minutes looking at Thule racks when I got back, but they'd look gawdawful on a 911, I'd really like something OEM along the lines of the killer aluminum and teak luggage rack that came with my families '60 Westfalia Combi. I have a great set of soft bags from Land's End that work fine, but I need more space if I ever want to do anything other than a weekend. Me, I can do with a single duffel, but I can't "travel" in either the 911 or 968 without more space.

DAvid,
That one onthe pic will fit an SC.. but not sure where you would locate one .. I am sure there are some rack makers out there that will have racks for 911's.. try Thule.. they make racks for most everything.. maybe even YAKIMA. but the one on the 911S in that pic is gonna be tough to find. -Eric
