More G50 conversion questions -

O.K. - I am getting a bit frustrated with my G50 project. The comapny I hired to put together the kit and shortedned bell housing G50 for my 86 930 took 6 months to get me the parts when they quoted me 2 weeks. They also promised step by step install instructions and gave me nothing to work with at all. So I am trying to piece this together from my Bentley manual and have already hit several snags.

The latest of which is how do you get the G50 shifter housing to fit in the trans tunnel as it is way too tall - it must sit up and inch or so???

Just cut and bend the part of sheetmetal that hits. I don't think you can space the housing up cause then the shift rod won't clear.

It is a fair amount of fiddling to get it to work but once it does you'll be very happy.
