LED Gauge lights
Anyone ever replace their dash bulbs for their gauges with LED bulbs similar to these? Was the gauge brighter? Don't know if I care for the blue, too much BLING.

One of members kellzey had some LED's made up with BA7S bases that do not require you to rewire anything. The LED's are an improvement over stock, and worth the price. If you want really great improvment you'll have to spend $$$. Bairdc3 has taken over selling them. I did a search for "LET Instruments" and came up with a couple of threads. Here's one:

I replaced mine with the ones kellzey was selling. While the color change to white was nice, they are no brighter than the stock bulbs. The LEDs are directional also, and they create bright spots in the gague where the bulbs are. More bulbs spaced out around the gague would help, or maybe a reflector behind the LEDs. For only about a buck per bulb though, it's worth it to try out.
