Hey Rick...what was the verdict on the 3 watt bulbs. Enough light or are we still in the dark?

Ron, to be honest I couldn't tell a difference.
I do have another type of bulb to test (I think it may kick butt). I went out and purchased a pretty nice variable output power supply and light meter to test different bulbs, broken tach, currents and voltages. I just haven't gotten to it yet.
