o2 sensor thd size?
I am replacing the 02 sensor on my 87 Carrera. The one I removed looks to be the original w/75K miles on it. Upon removal without the help of the o2 socket, and the use of heat, wd40, and a 22mm boxend, I have noticed that the internal thds in the cat could use some chasing.
What size tap and thd pitch will I need for this job? Thank you for your help, Paul

get your self a spark plug tap, same size as the o2 sensor.

it's 18 X 150. sparkplugs are 14mm.

Im pretty sure that Bosch uses the same thread pitch and diameter for all O2 sensors...
