100% synthetic silicone rubber
Ok guys, here's a tough glue question. Although I'm a 911 owner, this has nothing to do with my car. I recently broke my yellow LIVESTRONG wristband. The band and I have been through tough times together and I don't want to just throw it away and buy a new one. I know new ones are only a dollar, but I want to repair this one. The band is made of 100% synthetic silicone rubber. What glue will hold it. I've tried all the Krazy Glues, Super Glues, etc and they don't stick. Help!

I second the use of 3M 5200. It is a permenant bond and survives in the nastiest conditions: Marine. It is used to bond things like windlasses, cleats etc to the deck. In conjuntion with the studs, you would be good to go. A warning, you will probably never get it off again.

The wristband is cured with a platnum catylyst most likely in a mold under pressure. You will not be able to find a glue to make it stick and provide the same strength and elongation it once had. I hate to tell you this but finding a glue to work on that type of silicone is a fools errand. Best to mechanically repair it with some sort of flexible joint or to actually sew it! Sorry dude, any glue would be temporary at best.
