Final install of window regulator

I finally received all of my parts to reinstall the passenger window in my 86 targa. The side felt piece seemed quite difficult to get. I have a new window rail and all new weather stripping on the passenger side.

I read most of the previous threads on installing the window rail. Seems like a toss up between using urathane or Goop-Marine to seal the window. I have a couple of questions.

1. Anyone not seal the bottom of the glass to the rubber seal and the rubber seal to the rail. Any problems?

2. THose that used marine-goop. Is a single bead of goop along the bottom of the rail and the bottom of the glass sufficient to hold the window in place?
