I hate to admit it but the picture is not mine but another Pelican 's. I do use the method tho but didn't have a pic so I "borrowed" his. ![]() You are a brave man doing it with your lady. Harry and Paul,
I used the ladder method the other weekend and it worked a treat!!! One other tip is once you are done, place the tub back into the oil dispenser for a couple of days until you tube is completely drained... cheers Shane

I can see the ladder falling or gear oil falling on the car resulting in much grief. I simply use a hand pump dispenser (STALUBE gear oil once came in a 1 liter container with a dispenser nozzle hooked to a clear plastic tubing about a foot long. ) Mobil 1 gear oil comes in a 1 liter container with a nozzle that you can slip a clear vinyl tubing from Home Depot and slip the end of the hose into the filler and invert the bottle and squeeze the gear oil out via the tubing.

An aside question. Is there a replacement gasket for the shift cover? Mine is springing a slow leak on the transmission fluid.
Thanks, John |

The picture of the ladder would have been wonderful when I started this project. Of course the wife method would have been good too. I borrowed the tool from a neighbor and when he gave it to me he said here use these "kelly clamps" I said don't you mean roach clip? And was told that they were really called kelly clamps, who knew. Also I figured if this happened to someone else and they had to go buy a set of these, it would be pretty comical for them to be in sears or lowes asking to buy a roach clip. I'm now saying they couldn't but I would love to see the clerks face.
Thanks again for all the help.
