Bah, Humbug. Wanted to pick up the P-car this weekend. It's in storage @ the condo of a friend who has today and tomorrow off, after working 16 hr days.
Unfortunately, after about a week of nice enough weather, with all residual snow melted, today a storm has blown up from the south. Originally up to 10" of snow was predicted! Latest revised predictions say it looks like we may only get a lot of rain for today and tomorrow. I know...I've driven the car in the rain before. It's just that it's perfectly clean and who wants to do their first drive of the year in this kind of weather? Note: After reading my own words, I suddenly realized that, while I still would rather be driving today, I should be grateful that my biggest gripe is that I'll have to wait a few days. ![]()

Paul,
Look at the positive side, the rain will wash away the residual salt. Us Yanks can send you some serious Spring storms. Here in Colorado we can have some huge snowfalls this time of year. Luck has it; I think I’ll go out to the track. Best, Grady

Thanks for the good thoughts, Grady. BTW I'm a Yank too. I've lived here the past 30 years.

We live about 60 miles south east of Denver and had a blizzard wednesday night into thursday morning. 4 foot drifts, 30 to 40 mph winds and I go 10 miles west and there is just a skiff of snow. I love Colordo weather. Today it is in the 60's and the snow, except for the big drifts is just about gone. BTW I'm not complaining. Never complain about moisture in Colorado.

Whoopee!! Snowing like crazy in N.E. Ohio today. Only last Wed. it was 70 degrees and I got a short drive with the top down. Typical April weather but if we get more than 2.5" we will set an all time record for local snowfall. Current record is 101" and the average is 57". Yep, I'm ready for some nice weather.

Totally agree Paul
I was going to get my car out on Friday....but decided to put it off until next week.
With any luck I'll be commuting into downtown T.O in the P-car by Tuesday |

Well, it appears to be melting fast. Glad I brought my car home 2 weeks ago. Today was tearing-down-the-springplate-day to replace bushings. Not too warm in the garage but it all came apart 'almost' easily.
Goodluck with Tuesday twobone - forecast says 11 & sunny. Ian

Hey you Cleveland and Toronto guys...
Same here near Buffalo, but a "bit" worse...hit mid 60's a day or two ago...now it's coming down in a snow/freezing rain mix that chills you to the bone and soaks through your shoes and socks..... ..and for good measure...my roof downspouts tie into a draintile that suddenly isn't "draining"... backing up causing a freezing slush around my house foundation..... - Wil ![]()

It rained almost all day here in SE Michigan and we need more of it to wash the salt away! Anything is better than snow!

Update....Cleveland snowfall record is now broken. Power is out all over the place. Wind is blowing 40mph. Cab is cozy under the cover in the garage for a few more days.
When the weather DOES get nice here we APPRECIATE IT!
