I purchased the wrong 911?!?
Funny thing happened at the DMV....
I went to the DMV today to pay taxes, transfer title and get plates for my new SC. After returning home I pulled the new plate from the paper sleeve to see what the new license plate number is. The last 3 digits are "935" If I would have been running earlier I may have lucked into the 911 plate! I still got a kick out of the 935. What really cracked me up is the first 3 digits....."4ME" !!!!! That's right, I almost got a non-vanity plate for my SC that reads 4ME 911. Just thought I'd share this funny little *almost* coincidence. Aaron |

Looks like you will need to convert the SC to a 935. Love those turbos.

Hmm....I thought the california letter/number order is 1 number, three letters and threee numbers. ie: 1AAA111

ChinSCoupe: The turbo idea sounds good....it's the slant nose thing that I don't care for.
K. Roman: Here in WV plates look like this 'XXX XXX' ....one number and two letters.....space.....three numbers. Aaron |

A similar thing happened to me. The lady at the registration desk initially gave me a 920 numbered plate. I noticed a pile of plates and asked if there was a 911 there. There was and she gave it to me.
Perhaps if you would have opened up the plate at the counter, you could have swapped as well. "935" is pretty good though! |

My Washington plate came with 917 as the first 3 digits.
I like it. Dave |

Too bad it didn't say "935 4ME", or even better "911 4ME"

Maybe you could find out who got 4ME 911 and offer to swap?

Im 10 minutes away from West Virginia and that plate would look great on my 79 DP 935. Cool plate you have there.
