Thanks, Wil. I know many ask for maps and find that some are quite elusive. Hopefully this info stays up on the net well into the future....may have to download.
FWIW, the site has maps for Garrett, IHI, KKK, Mitsubishi Turbos and for Eaton and Votech Superchargers.

Darn! No K27's!
Thanks anyway, Rick. That is quite a list.

Below are notes that go along with the two K27 Maps. There is also a map for a " ??K27 2664ga??"
Note: Credit to a discussion on MotorGeek.com, however, I believe the maps were sourced from Rennlist. ******** "I believe that is a 3" 72 trim wheel. (3072) So the base diameter is 3" and the top is 2.545" ****** "Actually the 3072 designation on the K27 is for the compressor wheel. The map itself is for the compressor wheel. So its not really specific to any turbo. 3072 means the following: 3.0" at the base of the compressor wheel. KKK 3" wheels have 12 vanes. 72 is the trim or the ratio of the top area to the bottom area. In this case the top diameter is 2.54" based on the trim. K27 means that wheel will fit on a K27 family shaft and center bearing section. So.. measure your compressor wheel and determine the trim and you can get a good idea what your turbo will do. I am running a K27 3050 wheel right now on my car. I have some Audisport turbos which ran a 3450 wheel. The KKK 34 wheel has 14 vanes. One thing about high trim wheels is that they have a very vertical knee and tend to narrow band turbos. The Audi RS2 has a 2.6" wheel with a 50 trim. The top diameter is about 1.8". RS2 Comp has a 2.7" wheel with a 46 trim and a top diameter of 1.8" as well." ![]() ![]() ![]()

Eric Fahlgren owns that web site. He has been on the net for a long time and is a major contributor to the Megasquirt project (he wrote the Megatune software).
Go back to his home page and behold tons of other good stuff. http://not2fast.wryday.com/ Jurgen |
