912-6 is now flared
Got the welder out this weekend, passed on the $150 glue applicator. Pretty happy with the results. I have to stop by the auto paint store today to pick up some filler to skim coat the seams, then I'll shoot some epoxy over them. I'm gonna wait a few more weeks to paint so the pollen will be out of the air.
Who has a recomendation on filler to use. Didn't figure "bondo" would be the best choice. I have some finishing glaze to use as a final coat, but whats best for a first coat? ![]() ![]()

Be very stingy with the glaze.
I refuse to use the stuff myself, because in the past it has had so much shrinkng issues. The newer catalyzed stuff may be better, but I just dont trust the stuff. Rage is a terrific filler....good choice there.

the new 2x glaze doesn't shrink like the old stuff. but, still use it thin.
