Workshop Manual on CD
I have a middle year (77) 911 and would like to acquire the official Porsche workshop manuals. These are very expensive! I already have Wayne's 101 and the Haynes manual. There isn't a Bentley for the pre-78 cars. It would be a really nice resource to have the official workshop manual. But at $500+ for the volumes that I would need, this doesn't make any sense. Plus these are NLA for the older cars. So does anyone know if Porsche or Bentley for that matter plan on eother reprinting these volumes or putting them out on CD?

There are rumors that Porsche is going to release their manuals on CD this year. There is also a copy of the manual on the internet for your year. Read this thread

It would be fabulous if the factory put out their manuals on CD.
I wonder if Bentley or the fiel sharing networks got to them? I'm sure they'll be happy to have the $$ instead of Bentley and others. They can also brag about how well they support their 30 year old cars (pretty well, actually).
