Unless you have to meet an emission standard, why not just set it for what feels best to you?

If the 1.5% default wasn't too lean, then your 2-2.5 won't be. Are your control pressures/WUR ok? Are you experiencing any lean start or run symptoms?

Cool CO settings....

I have the CO set at about 2.5% on my '80 SC. It runs well and gives 17-18 mpg in town and 25-27 mpg on the interstate. I also am running with the O2 sensor unplugged. Hope this helps.
