Thanks guys. Bill, you are right...no relief for the cross-over pipe. It fits, but that definitely created the problem. I am going to go to midas this weekend and see if I can get some straps that will fit.
AW, I am going to whip out the rubber mallet tomorrow. What was the condition of your paint under the bumperettes? It seems like all that heat for 20 years has got to leave some serious crud on the paint.
Nine9six, there will be no music other than what comes from the engine for quite some time:D
