Ruby Red's, show me your interior color

I have a Ruby Red Metallic exterior and need to replace the interior. Looking for color that complements the exterior. Right now I think I have a parchment or linen interior. Was particularly interested in what it might look like with a black interior. Show me pictures of your interior with a Ruby Red exterior. Thanks.

Here are a few pics of my Ruby Red's interior...it's more of a dove grey than a tan. I had the seats re-done a couple of years ago and I replaced the carpet.

And a pic of the car...

Nice car. Where did you get your seats re-done? Dove Grey is a better description of the color of my interior. Do you know the actual Porsche name for that color?

Heres black interior, But you'll have to imagin the Ruby Red
I don't think there were a lot of 911's in the 80's that came with black interior.

OT...

Bob,
From what I recall, the exterior of your car is gorgeous. The interior certaintly matches! Man is it clean and tidy in there!

Thanks Mike...I think dove grey is the color name, not real sure though. The seats were done locally by Auto Internationals. They specialize in p-cars and are not the cheapest, but very good...plus they were only 5 miles from my house (Escondido, CA). I thought of going to all black but was talked out of it by my wife...maybe in the future.

Good luck.

randywebb: I don't think it is Linen. I was at the Hershey Swap meet today and saw a few cars with a linen interior. I looks lighter and whiter than what I have.

Brett25 : Please post a few pictures. Thanks.

I think that's right - hard to tell from a pic.

Try early 911s forum too if no answer here. Or pay the big dollars for a build certif. from PAG.

Looks a lot like the interior color of my '84. Mine is grey beige.

Yep, it's a Competiition.

However ever since I watched that early 911s track test video from earlier in the week i've been thinking about getting one of these.

I just ordered a competition yesterday. Were you able to keep you horn, turn signals and cruise working after you installed it?
