Is that 930 the one from Christian Garibaldi? I really dig the flat primer look. Makes it look extra bada$$!

Helmets optional? Or are those two middle pictures from lunchtime parade laps?

No, that flat black 930 is my Bro-in-law Phils car.. it's been flat black for about 3 years now... as he has been putting it all back together... it use to be in parts.. it's been runing now for a year.. and man it's fast at MID OHIO..
Jack, The sans helmet look is in the "D" run group the OVR/PCA is going with this set up to have the guys run SLOW the 1st session to learn the track and line before putting on the helmets and going hard.. I think it's a good idea.. for a drive on a new track... -Eric

Hey Noel,
It's sucked they put my buddy Bill A. and I ( who is behind me in the 993 in the pic ) in C class we spent the entire weekend passing! so I learned how to do that VERY well. and how to pass late and still make the line after you enter the turn offline ahaha! I wish they would have put us in our B class.. but it didn't happen I guess it was a FULL class... but man it was still fun after mid Sunday everyone started to leave and we had some clean / open track to scoot around on.. I was lapping in the 1:53'ish range when there was clean open track... not to bad for my 1st Mid Ohio.. not bad at all..I may see you there tomorrow I am leaving tonight after work for Hershey.. -Eric

I plan to leave around 4-5 am Sat am and caravan in with 89911, 87911 and Eddie. We should make record time. Too bad I'll be driving the Outback wagon, as the other two cars are too small to carry home goodies.

That's pretty sweet, smoking the loaded tire out of a corner. Did you stay in front of the 993?

Smoking the loaded backtire? It actually looks like you ran over some chalk or something in the corner. What is that white stuff on the track?

You breaking up the track is even more impressive than smoking the tire IMO.
Talk about pulling some Gs.BTW, what tires did you have on when you ran the 1:53s? Drive safely to Hershey!

hahaha! yeah that would.
![]() The tires are TOYO T1 Proxes..... I think I could have pulled a bit faster lap time had I been on softer tires (when I HAD clean track).. but hey the only time they were not screaming at me was on the straight aways! hahaha! Carston was doing my lap times with a stop watch so there maybe be an error factor if +1/-1.. i would say more on the +1 more than the -1 ha-ha! but I was doing very well he said. -Eric
