3.6 conversion throttle cable alternatives?

I am using a timmins throttle cable setup on my 95 3.6 conversion but it seems like it is not getting full throttle with pedal to the floor. I see on timmins site that there is some sort of a bell crank mod does anyone know exactly how it is modified or if there are any better alternatives out there

IIRC you add 1" of length to the bell crank arm with the Timmins kit.

Can anyone post some closeups of completed throttle cables of different variants, i.e. Timmins or otherwise?

Yeah I figured that you added a little on the end to get better leverage on the cable. Can you post a pic? I did not get the modified bell crank so that might be partially the problem. Has anyone ever modified the bell crank themselves?

How about some pics of alternative installs or whatever ya got..

Hi

There is no need to use the Timmins cable or the expensive Patrick Motorsport cable, you can modify the original linkage set up from your old engine, I use this on my 95 993 engine and it works great.

You need to lengthen the bell crank on the engine-mounted part and on the throttle body, but you end up whit the original solution and it is basically free.
Bill Verburg did this on his first conversion and I believe he has some pictures on one of his Web's
