Pictures of my shortblock
Here are a few pics of how the shortblock is looking. I am hoping the engine is finished before the end of May. I also through in a pic of the cam towers. I cant wait for all the chrome and polished stuff to make its way on there!

I keep my cars spotless so you can be sure it will look very nice all the time lol. The pulley is just on there to turn the engine over. Yes I have AC on the car...the compressor was disassembled and powder coated and pulley and clutch cover was chromed. EVERYTHING on this engine is chromed, polished or powdercoated.

My last 3.4 cylinders I had coated with the disperant coating...which is dry film or also called teflon coating. It helps the cast cylinders cool quicker, stay cleaner, and avoid corrosion. The design and material used in these billet cylinders actually do not perform as well with the coating. Charles found this out through extensive testing. If you have cast cylinders I say do it! In case you can't tell I have a good hook up on all kinds of coatings

Hmmm .....13 fins on the cylinders...
Sure helps the issue of identifying Nikasil ( usu. 11 fins with vertical bar) from Alusil ( usu. 10 fins).. LOL !! Wil
