Blind Squirrel finds an acorn - Part 3!

Greetings guys,

Many of you know that this hobby has been pretty good to me. I have had a blast playing around with high performance turbos and old mfi 911's and made some great friends along the way.

I got lucky two years ago and found a really nice viper green Carrera RS in Pittsburg. Before that I imported a nice Euro Carrera from Holland. Most recently I found a phenomenal signal yellow '70S sunroof coupe just 15 minutes from my house.

Regrettably, I just sold the '70S. Several people PM'd me wanting to know why the f*** I was selling such a cool car. Well the good news is that lady luck smiled on me once more...

The newest addition to the family is an all matching #'s Series I Carrera RS (chassis #197) that I just bought out of Japan. Bahia red, all matching #'s, limited slip and sport seats on the Cardex, all original and unrestored. Pretty much a time warp car right down to the original door seals. Drives like a new car and pulls like a mo-fo.

Amir is getting ready to post a few pics of her as she arrived. Keep in mind this car hasn't been cleaned yet. I will post "after" shots once my detailer works his magic.

Sweet dreams to all!

Wolf

Wolf,

I'm sorry to see you had to settle for such a nasty old beater with a horrible paint job. I'll be by this weekend to remove it from your property (you know the jokes the neighbors make when you have a nasty old car sitting in your drive) and, since I'm such a nice guy, I won't charge you anything. I just can't believe noone else here is nice enough to make this offer to you, but some people....

Oh, yeah, I LOVE IT!!!! Beautiful car!!!

Thanks for all of the kind words guys. I am pretty much expecting a meteorite to fall out of the sky and kill me just to even my luck out. Or maybe I was just a really nice guy in a past lifetime and I actually deserve this good karma.

Also pleased that my '70S is staying local in So Cal. with a cool guy who bought it. Best regards to all

Wolf

I can't even believe it. You are one lucky guy, Rob. So when can I run down the street and check it out? Hey, I'm looking for a mobile detailer, too. PM me with your guy's contact info?

WHen it comes to cars, LUCK is usually defined as being alert to the good deals and having the means to act upon them.
I am batting 500% ...... I see the good deals many times, but I rarely have the means to do anything about them
