MFI Stack diameters, what size for S?

I've seen contradicting info on 70/71 S stack diameters. Some say it's 42mm ID at the top, others say it's 43mm.

Anyone know with certainty?

Thanks Bobby, your thread on the subject is one of the sources I've seen. Excellent bit of reference material.

Unfortunately, I've found multiple sources contradicting you. You may very well be right, I'm just looking for some indepentant verification.

Hi Chuck,

The 70S stacks I have (PN 911.110.303.1R) are about 42mm. I measured on the inside of the center bore just down from the top. I got 42.48mm but this was with a regular caliper and not a bore guage. There is a little bevel at the top that measures out to about 43mm.
You can see it in the picture at the end of the screw driver.
This may be why some get 42 and some 43mm.
Also a picture compairing the S and E

That bevel explains the discrepency.

Bobby, sorry to have doubted
