911 SC Engine Question, do some not have sump plates???
So I took a trip to look at this car today:
Anyone know what color this is? Very nice car, but it has some attention spots that need addressed. Anyway, I went to jack up the car by the engine. Looked under the car and there was no sump plate. Like how the 3.2 motors don't have one. Is this a Cabrio thing? A Euro thing? I just couldn't figure it out. It a 1983 SC Cab, very late production July 83. It did have a cat bypass that looked like it had been there a long time. I thought it might be a Euro, but no side markers or bumpers. Confused ![]()

I think the late '83's used '84 cases.

OK, so I wasn't looksing my rocker.
I was shocked to see an 84 lower case with all the 83 CIS stuff above. I was like WTF. Good to hear. Thanks.
