REF: '74 911 Speedo Conversion I have installed late 993(964) electronic gauges on my '74 911. I had the mechanical speedometer and replaced with an electronic (VDO 964)speedo. I purchased a mechanical(cable drive) to electronic signal output device for the new electronic speedo. It is NOT accurate and fluctuates the speed reading. Has anyone out there done such a conversion successfully, without changing the trans (which has the electronic output drive for the speedo)?? Thanks, Nz
