I don't know if you remember this but, many months ago I had emailed or pm'd you asking for more interior pics (since my car has tan interior) and you wrote back that it would be 2 weeks or so... lol... nice to see it's finally done!.. Looks great. How long before the magazine article!? This deserves some recognition!

Sorry I missed the PM. I must have posted this one a couple dozen times in the last 2 years. It is the basis for the new interior. I'll do a detailed photo shoot of the car when we get some nice weather.

Heat if off the 993 heat exchangers and RS ducting like everyone else is using now.

The car came out perfect, it looks like the guys at Eurotech are true craftsmen, hard to find these days. After all that work how does it drive?? do you notice the weight loss??

Funny part was we pulled the 3.6 from a car with a small ring gear and didn't realize it. I had been running a short box with my 3.4 and wanted taller gears in my next car.

A 2100# 3.6 with tall gears is a fun road car for sure. Not what I had originally in-visioned coming from the tight 3.4 but we'll have to see where that 280hp 3.6 takes me.

Too many changes at the moment to really know what I think. But I do know I could get in a lot of trouble very quickly in this car!

She was quick and agile before. She is better now. I am interested in what the top end will be. Gonna make Alex take a pic of the speedo in 5th at 7K

Two of the three things I like the most so far are the CUP washer tank and the single wiper. Sounds weird I know but both are really neat little details that you notice in the car and while driving..wipers on or off.

No question you feel the rear end "looseness" with the WEVO spring plates. Car is lots more compliant in the rear suspension. Feels like i went to softer Tbars and shocks. Nothing else has changed back there but the Wevo bits. Good choice on that decision I think if I noticed them right away.
So many details on this car. Going to be fun to experience them all as I get time and some driving in.

I'm also going to cut of the rain gutters. Do you have any problems with water coming in the sidewindows when it's raining????

Thanks Michael. Water doesn't seem to be an issue out side of exiting the vehicle in a hard rain. Still don't see getting a lot of water in the cabin because of lack of rain gutters.

I wouldn't do it on a daily driver where you are in and out of the car all the time in any kind of weather. But for a sports use vehicle it seems like a good choice at the moment. I have less than 50 miles on the car so give me a few weeks to give you more reliable feedback.

Thanks Jeff, went from a stock 13" wiper to a 17" Bosch wiper with no problems. I have a 18" but have yet to try that one but it looks close. Tracy gave it a B+/A- for the passenger side in hard rain.

The bigger wiper size makes a huge difference for better visability for the driver. I'll get a bunch of detail shots in the next few days and post them.

5th gear at 7K? A vacant airport runway of course I don't want Alex distracted while he runs the camera and I drive.

Tiny washer tank also called the high intensity tank in a Carrera.
Do a search for washer tank and my name. Bill V posted a link and a parts list from Porsche to do the conversion in one of those threads.

I noticed the freedon of movement in the rear end in the first mile getting to the freeway and the nasty section of pavement through Bellevue on 405 several miles later. Car use to jar your fillings loose in that section...feels like the wifes' BWM with a sport suspension now.

I suspect it is going to be a big change once I get a chance to get the car sorted again.

I should be at the Whitebird hil climb this weekend and Bogus Basin next.

Did you mechanically change anything under the cowl for the passenger wiper delete? Or is all of the intricate linkage still there for both wipers with only the driver side exposed through the cowl?

You have to cut up the dbl wiper system as it no longer had two bases of support for the wiper arm attachments. Not a simple job as I first thought it might be.

Lots of ways to do it I am sure. Once you take a look at how Porsche did it just about anything else is going to be simpler and lighter.

The wiper system has got to be one of the finest examples of German over engineering
