Part 7...she is finished!
I drove the "new car" home this morning at 2AM. Our yearly show and shine is in the morning. Can't say enough good things about the guys at Eurotech for sticking with it this week with all the snafus they ran into.
If you are new to this saga here is a link that will eventually get you back to Part 1 on this project car. Paint...part 6 of the build.. Front bumper driver's side.

![]() Car is exceptionally quite. Much more so than any 3.6 transplant I have heard. Disconcerningly so. I am reserving judgement until I get a dyno. Got a resonace at 4K (literally only 4 to 4100 rpm then it is gone) May not be the muffler at all. Still some discovery to do. Just need some time with it so see what the final word is. But for $550 I'd jump on it just from this level of performance, (what ever level that is) I suspect the muffler may offer more HP than the orginal custom muffler but the lack of noise is making it seem like a 996 or a big time sleeper. Quite and way to easy too go much to fast. Last edited by rdane; 05-15-2005 at 02:35 PM.. |
