Isn't this the one that a member here was helping to sell? I remember seeing that one. One in the same? The one in the pic has sport seats like mine.

You kind of scared me there for a sec. thought you were a buddie of mine. He has that saying from Napoleon Dynamite on the tail of his Hayabusa. Great saying!!!

Welcome aboard! This BBS is outstanding in the quality of information and quality of people.

Thanks, David, I have a huge amount of reading to do. This site is invaluable!! Also, the part that is refreshing over other boards is that the consistency of the people is top notch.

Outstanding welcome!:D

Back to the garage,,, detailing is going to take a couple of good days.:D

Maybe you can help me out. In the "one leg" photo (sitting behind the wheel), there is something in the center console located just above the A/C controls. What is it? I also have a '77 that I purchased disassembled. I have the hole but have no idea what originally filled it.

Don't expect it to faster than your Hasabusa. Even my R1 or 750 would outaccelerate yah! :)

Nice find!

Welcome aboard.

I've always thought there was something special about the looks of a 3.0 930. Great story and a really nice car.

I've got wood !!!

Congrats and more pics are in order .

Sounds like you're heading away from the Ra1's .

For those that like them they should look at or talk to them over at Sasco .

We've ( our shop ) bought Ra1's from them at a better price than the Tirerack .

Nice car , good story .

We'll need updates often........

Beatiful car, good for you. welcome to the boards. I'm honored to be the first person to tell you that if the red battery light comes on, pull over RIGHT AWAY, it may be time to change the fan belt. I'm surprised no one mentioned it yet, it should be the very last thing mentioned before keys are handed to a new owner. Anyway, It's a five minute fix should the belt break, or a thousand dollar mistake if ignored, just like the hole in the death star, or a timing belt on a Honda. Some people recommend having a maintenance schedule for changing the belt, so it doesnt happen when your wearing a tux on the way to a wedding, or when your in the middle of Newark NJ at 2am because your gps thought it'd be a good shortcut :) Other than that, these cars are bullet proof, litterally, see for yourself...

That is the hole for the retractable microphone used with the Blaupunkt Bamburg Radio.

Here is a more detailed picture and a diagram of the console.
