Simple sunroof question

I have a simple sunroof question that I couldn't find answered when I searched.

I want to try to pop out the sunroof switch in my car. It feels very gritty and sloppy, and either way I try to push it, I get no reaction from the motor. I want to pull it out and check it, and see if I can get the motor to do anything.

Does the switch just pull out the bottom of the dash? That's what it seems like. I don't want to fube anything up trying to get it out!

Thanks!

I never had the roof button removed. Maybe try to gently pull it foreward with a thin narrow putty tool or screwdriver.

I removed mine with a small screwdriver and gently popped it right out. Came out very very easy.
