			Is this the particular part that screws into the air injector ports on the heads of 911's with air pumps?  I just need confirmation before I order.  I tried the search but didn't get concrete evidence.  Thanks guys.

			According to this thread they seem to be the right plugs.  I am strongly considering ditching the entire air pump system myself. 			Mike - I did this with my 930/63 motor. You very simply remove all that crap and plug all the holes. It really is just that simple. A word of caution. When you put those plugs in be careful not to cross thread. Use the crush washer and check them for loosness every time you change the oil. I had one loosten and blow out on me once. Fortunately it did not damage the treads.

			Anyways, I'm ordering those right now. I'll get some pictures of the process once the parts come in. I have the heat exchangers off and I'm going to go sandblast them once I get done here. I'm repainting the heat exchangers as well. I had to do the oil return tubes, thus the removal of the heat exchangers. Anyways, I'll post some pics once I'm finished with the project.

			RarlyL8, you make it seem too easy.  I thought I would have to remove the heat exchangers just to get the air injectors out of the cylinders.  At least that is what is shown on this thread from rennlist.air injection removal pics   If it's as easy as you say it's a no brainer, but I am not about to risk breaking studs to get that stuff out of there. 			I had my engine on a stand stripping it for a rebuild so I wasn't too concerned about removing stuff. It would of course be more difficult working under your car. If in doubt use a mechanic to remove the exhaust.

			I went at it as a delicate maneuver. Mt exhaust was taken off. Those injectors are old and treated gingerly. Even thou my heads had only 40k on them and the injectors were assembeled with never seize I could see the writing on the wall.  
		
	
		
	
			
			
		
		
		
		
		
			You may be better off leaving the injectors on and removing only the pump and its mounting piece.
